A woman has been killed after a large eucalyptus tree fell on a group of wedding guests taking photographs at a southern California park. Five other people
were injured, including a four-year-old girl who is in a critical condition after suffering head injuries.Several people were trapped under the tree at Penn Park in Whittier on Saturday, Los Angeles County Fire Department said. Footage from the scene showed fire crews using chainsaws to cut through the downed branches of the tree. Witnesses described hearing a loud crack and seeing people run from the area.
